So, my dear readers (that sounds quite presumptuous that you’re here to read my posts, but whatever
), I hope you’re all doing well and utilising your student vacations well. However, inevitably, as exams near, I always procrastinate more by exploring further options. Last teaching period I delved into formspring, and then removed it. However, I’ll admit that it’s now back up, so feel free to ask more questions:
I’ve also started up a new blog. As I’ve said before, I think perhaps I should keep the more personal or ‘bloggy life’ aspects out of number 17 (for somewhat good reasons – thanks to Murphy and Hans for showing me why it’s a good idea). So here’s to my tumblr! I expect to get a lot fewer visitors than number 17, but I think I won’t get random people that I don’t know at all. No offense, but there are some people who visit number 17 that I’ve never met or even heard of (i.e. sydney uni kids who know hans, ben, jason, etc). But I’m not sure how much I’ll persist with my new blog, which’ll cover quite a bit, maybe. I also doubt I’ll draw any readers away from number 17, and I’ll keep on posting things on number 17 that I deem are appropriate for it. We’ll see how things go

What kind of recommendations for places do you all have? It’s just that lately, whenever I go out to the city to eat with friends or something, we inevitably spend almost an hour wandering around, undecided on where to eat.
So here’s a call out for any places you guys find are good for eating. Ideally relatively close to public transport and cheap
. I’m pretty sure you’d've been out to more places than I have, so mmm.
Plus, this’ll help with the (likely midyear break?) number 17 meetup (AGM, if you will ^.^)

Making Cheetos: It Ain’t Easy Being Cheesy.
I thought I found a bag of these in Japan. I WAS WRONG. They ended up being all Japanese!! Normally I like Japanese things, but Japanese localised Cheetos… they don’t taste very good (nor do they have the right texture).
If only they brought legit Cheetos here… (don’t really care for the spicy ones though… I’m too much of a wimp for that)

After protecting myself from the spoilers that were readily available on the internet for a year or so, I have finally watched a poorly encoded, completely legal DVD back-up of the second rebuild movie. I have lots to say about this movie, but my thoughts aren’t organised enough to create a handy list or matrix, so I’ll vomit stuff out per my usual procedure. (oh yeah, non-plot spoiling but possibly experience spoiling spoilers)
The movie used Kare Kano tracks! I don’t think Sagisu can compose in the same style he had back in 1995-1998 anymore. Hence, we have a movie with recycled NGE music AND recycled Kare Kano music, as well as new pieces of music that I have mixed opinions about. On that topic, I think the 2.0/2.22/2-derivative version of Thanatos has an additional piano thing going with the strings but I might just be trying to pick something out from all the weirdness.

Get one + link me to it. Failing that, fire me stupid questions at mine:
http://www.formspring.me/dp624
It’s kinda interesting but half the times the questions are retarded, especially so since you can choose to remain anonymous while asking. I like the med-related q’s though, since it sort of makes me study ahahaha. But it’s privacy gone to the winds (though I can obv. choose not to answer questions). Ah, what we do to procrastinate/get out of studying for my exam on thurs =/

Cloud Computing and You!

Blarg, Technology: Cloud Computing, Don'tBeEvil, Google, Information Security, rambling
For those of you that don’t know, Cloud Computing is the posterchild of Web2.0 (what many perceive to be an incorrectly named standard, as there is no official version number of the Web).
BUT, what Web2.0 does represent is the ability for increased user interaction with websites, to tailor them to have what they want, when they want, and how they want it. However…. there are some drawbacks… → read more
Raw marks from Board of Studies

Blarg: board of studies, chemistry, english, maths, physics, raw marks
So I figured I should post something. Honestly though, lately, I haven’t had much idea of what to post. But I recently stumbled across some documents while cleaning my desk
I had applied for my raw marks from the Board of Studies [for the HSC etc] and received them a few weeks ago; however I didn’t really feel like posting them as it was a long time since HSC and it doesn’t really matter that much anymore. I do think Joseph [one of our non-ruse08 readers; spik3balloon] also applied. But currently I’m really stuck for what to post, so here goes
