Hey guys it’s been a while since i past commented or even posted something [think last time was in 2008?] so I thought now would be a good time to get back into posting stuff.
The main reason for the lack of posting is probably down to laziness but I guess there’s not really an excuse for not posting during the holidays. Speaking of a lack of posts I probably owe Hans, Justin and possibly dp a fair few posts which I said I would do but never got around to ^^” but no worries I still have the remainder of February to make up for it [can't make any promises once uni starts though].
Alrightey so for today’s post we have: nendoroids + figmas!

In Hong Kong last year, I went and bought some more rechargeable batteries. I already had some, but I think I bought a tad too many, so I decided to store them in this frankly epic and brilliant custom-made box, with a stylised design.
I don’t know why I bought so many for actually, I don’t have anywhere close to this many appliances that use AA or AAA batteries. The appliance that uses the most is the cheap $90 Samsung camera that I don’t use very frequently, although I did use it to take this pic, as well as the others in this post.

I can’t sleep. It’s almost as if it’s kind of a “that time of the month” thing. So I’m not going to try.
Instead, a few pictures. After all, photographs are my only practical means of personal expression. I find it almost impossible to express how I feel about anything, or anyone, with words.

Well, 2009′s well and truly ended now. Within this post I will attempt to organise whatever thoughts I’ve had on this year… somewhat coherently =3. I’ve had some time to reflect on this – I pretty much spent most of the Christmas period indoors, as well as NYE itself. Which probably means my thoughts are quite the whirlwindy mess, knowing how my mind works. Often I can’t understand my thoughts myself – since they’re seriously all over the place and interconnected in a very random fashion. Regardless – here goes.
Oh, and apologies for upcoming wall of text =3. EDIT: ok fine random photos have been interspersed. damn i really love my photos [over 2,300 of them are on fb; and i don't upload them all]

Anime, Blarg, Gaming, Music, Photos, Technology: 2009, angst, Christmas, FFXIII, nendroid, new year, PC, Photos, Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation, thoughts, TV ads
which for the record, is a line ripped off from the wallpaper here, created by a ridiculously talented visual styles dev.
Anyway, cynical title for a post? A bit perhaps, but still somewhat appropriate given how capitalistic/consumption-centred this post will be.
And yes, I realise I am a few days late in wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, but you know, better late than never.
I haven’t made a substantial post in a loooong time, and I can partially place the blame on me wanting to wait until I had my new pc rig set up before I wrote anything. I basically finished setting up one of my OS’es to run a few days back, but alas, work/partying/general going out meant I didn’t have a solid 2 hour block to put together some thoughts and write something up. Which is again why this post is late.
I have promised to write up a set of impression/reviews on a number of things – I will probably try to write one up each day. As usual, they’ll be on stuff no one really cares about.

The Three Sisters, taken from Echo Point. 6 photos, portrait
Take note that though the following are scaled down, their file sizes and resolution remains high. I have the fullres images if you want them =]
1 – The Three Sisters, taken from Echo Point higher level. 6 photos, portrait
2 – Blue Mountains and the Three sisters, taken from Echo Point lower level. 26 photos, portrait
3 – Blue Mountains, taken from Echo Point, 3 photos, landscape
Quick jobs =] I haven’t the time yet to process them properly. But I do somewhat like how they turned out.

Very quickly – all good photos from my trip may now be found in this Flash gallery here. (It’s a higher quality than Facebook.) You may right-click to open any image in a new window and save it for yourself if you want.
If I had to put them under license, probably Creative Commons Non-Commercial Share-Alike Attribution. =)
Legal stuff. Whatever. Enjoy.
