So, it’s Sunday night and dinner is at least half an hour away. But I’m starving. What should I eat?

1) Cadbury Chocolate (already had half a block)

2) Choc Chip muffins

3) Chips/etc lying around

4) Instant Noodles

5) Starve and man it up till dinner

6) Weeds in the backyard

7) Non-foods

Or some combination of these?

Help! I’m so hungry!

Although by the time someone replies I might be full.

Well recently I’ve been listening to some techno pieces. Often when I get bored of vocal pieces I listen to instrumentals as I find they give a nice bit of contrast, with all their melodic and rhythmic subtleties.

Now one of my recent favourites is called V3. It’s a modern remix of some piece called Beethoven’s Virus (? not sure if it exists but that’s what my cousin tells me). It combines classical string and percussion elements with modern synth, guitar, drums etc. Anyway I find it to be quite epic, so I think everyone should have a listen!

David Pham just recently alerted me that the evil anti-Sandvich Hans was thinking of revoking my author status. Well since I now have a two day break after my Foundations exam (which didn’t count) I believe I should do some reflective entry on my thoughts on uni life so far – particularly the topic of friends.

On the eve of starting uni, I felt like making my first post out of sheer boredom.

Now I’m not going to bore you with some introspective piece about my thoughts of going to uni. Instead I’ll introduce a Mandarin song which I’ve become addicted to as of lately. It’s by the Mainland China band “The Flowers” (gay name huh? Though this name has slightly different undertones in Chinese – it conveys youthfulness and creativeness). The song is called “Xi Shua Shua”, and for those losers who don’t know how to read pinyin (romanised Chinese), tough luck. It roughly means ‘scrubbing’ and has a cleaning theme to it. Yeah, it’s random.

Anyway, enjoy!
