Had a watch of this last night, nicely done movie. Fantastical and full of dream logic, but just coherent enough to enjoy. After reading the synopsis I was reminded of Inception but this movie is very different. It’s not based around spectacle, nor puzzles, but instead the psyches of several characters. It addresses it really well. The way shots were used and reused was really so enjoyable. There were points where I just had a dumb smile on my face, and other points where I just laughed. I can’t stress how well done this movie was, it just had the right tone. Animation, as per Madhouse standard, was AMAZING. Also, there’s this HUGE fat guy who has the same voice as AMURO. This movie was such a fangasm on the part of the writer/director, I intend to watch the other Satoshi Kon movies.

Another week, another Gundam show. This time I watched the OVA that conveniently erases itself from the UC timeline at the very end, despite a colony drop and the seemingly unforgettable destruction of two-thirds of the Federation’s entire fleet of battleships.

Official Google Blog: Update on Google Wave.
Oh hey, look it’s pretty much dead. I always wondered what Wave would be used for…

Saw this on digg a couple weeks ago. Found it again by chance, and decided to post here. If I was as high as he was, I would be pretty happy 99.99999% of the time, excluding the times I would somehow run out of whatever substance I was smoking.

With the price of 3D movies up to about $23 for a student ticket last I checked, I am glad that the public is shunning that stereoscopic crap.
Maybe one day in the future, there will be an equal number of 2D showings of movies available in 3D… ah one can dream
